I was a founding member of Epic recording artists ’til tuesday. Aimee Mann was the singer and chief songwriter in that band. I was a co writer on the first two records, both of which went gold, including the top 10 hit (USA) Voices Carry. As a member of ’til tuesday I toured all over the U.S. Canada, Europe and Japan. We opened for acts like Hall and Oates, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Moody Blues, Rick Springfield and Cheap Trick. We did a few headline tours as well. The group won an MTV award for best new artist in a video. Three singles went into the top 40. We were written about in various publications like Rolling Stone, People Magazine, Spin, Interview etc. We appeared on television shows like "Solid Gold" and "American Bandstand".
I’ve been playing music professionally since 1983. I’ve played with some people you've heard of and many more you haven't. I fronted my own power trio for a while, sung acapella doo wop (with these guys ) and have done countless gigs of every kind. I've also spent many many hours recording.
What's new ?
I've been working with Effi Kalas including live gigs, writing and recording. A song called "Signs" is posted on her website and a sample is heard as the first track on my demo reel above.
I've been playing lots of gigs with a line up we're calling The Ubiquitones mostly in the Rhode Island area of the USA. I'll be playing with them at least until April of 2012.
A CD I played guitar on last summer produced by Anthony Resta called "Cant Quit" by My Silent Bravery was just nominated for CD of the year by Indie Music Digest and is getting all sorts of positive attention elsewhere.
I also made a record, released Nov 2010 with Velveteen Playboys , contributing significantly to the writing and production which can be downloaded on itunes or purchased directly from their website.
